Affiliated Media, an independent advertising agency based in Portland, OR, supports a roster of over 50 local and national advertisers across categories such as HVAC, QSR, home improvement, and automotive. A shared commitment to client success

Comcast Advertising was brought in to help two of Affiliated Media’s clients boost business: Burgerville and Consolidated Community Credit Union (CCCU).

Burgerville is a quick-service restaurant with roots in the Pacific Northwest. The restaurant prides itself on sourcing 75% of its menu within 400 miles and supporting the local community through fundraising and donations. We were tasked with creating multiple custom audiences to help Burgerville promote its message where it matters most.

Our partnership with CCCU—one of the nation’s top-ranked credit unions for financial health—began with in-depth research. We discovered that one in four consumers prefer credit cards from local banks or credit unions, highlighting a valuable opportunity for credit unions to become the primary card issuer. With these insights, we collaborated with Affiliated Media to produce a series of commercials that brought our findings to life. The campaign showcased local residents relying on CCCU for key financial milestones—from everyday banking to home loans and high-yield savings accounts. Each message was strategically delivered to targeted audiences across screens, platforms, and programming to maximize impact.

For several years, Burgerville reached its custom audiences through a multiscreen approach ensuring the right message reached the right people wherever they were watching. The results—increased loyalty and greater profits—allowed the restaurant chain to expand its footprint with new locations across the region.

That’s why the agency leveraged Comcast Advertising’s Instant IMPACT, powered by Innovid, to directly link CCCU’s campaign performance to key metrics. During the campaign, CCCU saw a +48% increase in direct search traffic and a +12% rise in top page viewership—clear indicators of strong audience engagement and campaign effectiveness.
